An Bord Pleanala – Decision
Date: Monday 20th June, 2011
As we have previously advised on our news page MEHL applied for a planning permission under Strategic Infrastructural Development back in December 2010. The permission we sought was to change our current activity somewhat to allow us to accept and treat wastes which could be classified as Hazardous, Non-Hazardous or Inert but all of which would still remain non-biodegradable in nature.
We are delighted to announce that the decision which issued from An Bord Pleanala was to GRANT the permission we sought with conditions.
The next step in the regulatory process is to seek and obtain a new licence from the Environmental Protection Agency and we will update news on this process as and when we have something to report.
